Restoring an Elk

The local elks lodge asked me if I could restore the metal sculpture. so I stripped the old paint off as best I could in the middle of the Arizona Mohave valley summer. I think the paint melted off.

So after removing the paint finally with the aid of a sand blaster I was ready.

Finally a mornining with low temperatures low humidity. No wind. I began by added primer coat.

Then came the creative portion. I blended colors together. And it came out super good.
